Organic cotton can be helpful when trying to ascertain if your child’s eczema is being worsened by there clothing, to get the benefit of organic cotton it should be laundered separately from non-organic clothing and cleaned only with something you 'know' to be safe for your child.

Conventionally grown cotton is one of the most destructive crops grown in the world today, with 2-9 applications of insecticides sprayed on a typical conventional cotton crop each season. Certified organic cotton has to be grown without the use of any pesticides. Pesticides may irritate baby’s delicate skin/baby eczema; permitted dyes are also regulated to ensure they are safe for people and the environment.
